Benzine or Gas?
Economics so far is not about making our life better, it is about filling someone's pockets. So it doesn't matter if your car runs on benzine or gas. Soon they will rise prices on benzine because it is not ecological, and on gas, because of a higher demand.

You got the point, but I would not be surprised if it happens so. Our economy is made so, take always possible max. Prices can be rising without such a serious reason as demand, it could be the power of spending of ppl, such as increased wages. (Imho, this is how I understand the world)
But first it has to happen, and I think it will not. Electricity and or hydrogen based engines are currently comming to the market and I think it is the future, until there will be sth better then electricity invented.

The greed, or "get as much as you can, and if you can't get more don't let the others to", is a known disease of humanity for a long time. But in the earlier times human greed was limited by distances, and powers. From XIX century those limits were moved ahead with the help of technology and legislation putting in danger the health of the planet. In later years the "greedynomics" is getting more and more critics (like this one), but I am wondering how much it would take to prohibit most of the speculative and harmful activities, which are currently protected by our laws.
