Oberegen Journey

In this August I made several wonderful journeys and have hundreds of pictures unpublished. I feel duty to show at least some of them, so you can understand what a beautiful land I'm visiting.

Oberegen is a name of a famous skiing area in Südtirol and also a name of a group of mountains that belongs to Dolomiten mountains.

This is how the skiing slope look like during the summer. We passed the skiing area and going higher.

It's quite steep and I don't understand why those sheep like to go so high. They might be dangerous for walkers, because some times they throw the stones down, so we put on our helmets.

From the first height it opens a magnificent view. You feel like in a desert, when there's nothing except for the stones.

After the top we are in another valley.

Still you can feel that Alps are in the middle of the Europe.

The roads usually go up and down. We were approximately at 2800 above see level.
