Riga 4

A new travel note - from 24.XII.2006 till 03.I.2007 I was visiting Riga to meet my parents and friends. This was the 4th time I visited Riga since I came to Italy.

The city has changed a little. Latest news - from the newspapers in the airplain. Every evening I met many different friends and still did not manage to meet everyone I wanted to see. Every morning - sleeping till 10:00AM (totally untypical for me), shopping in the afternoon and meeting friends again.

On Christmas I was at home. For the new year I went to a party which was organized by friends of friends of friends.

This was a carneval party and I ran in troubles looking for a suitable suit for me. So I went as you see on the picture and everybody was asking if I am a security guy.

Just before the new year I got sick and in order to recover quickly was taking a lot of pills. Since the pills do not go well together with alcohol, my new year was very alcohol-free.

The party was quite nice with lots of food and drinks and even a live band playing rythmic jazz music. After 03:00AM I went to another party, organized by my friends - salsa school vivalasalsa.
