Fighting Fears
I'm not afraid to die. Well, we all die somewhen :) But I'm really afraid of getting injures. This is a very healthy fear, unless it limits my abilities of doing something.
For instance, I'm afraid to swim in the open sea. I had an accident many years ago, but since then I became a way better swimmer. Still, you know, it sucks.
Another example is climbing. I like climbing. When I don't think - I'm climbing. When I think - I'm shaking like a leaf.
Finally - snowboarding. I'm afraid to jump. Well, I jump anyway, because I'm stubborn, but at the very last moment my fear causes me to slow down or turn away and I crash against something.
I guess I have many other fears :) So, I have started to work on this problem. And it's really exciting, you need to try it! When you face a physical fear you totally forget about any other problems you had. As usual, thanks to all friends, who are helping me.
Don't you think you have a psychological fear? and you're afraid to make things straight.
Hi, thank you for the comment. I will think about that. I guess I have many psychological fears. Physical ones are easier to train and I hope these ones will help to train another ones.
