For comparison here's a typical food you can get at the university's cantine. Pasta is not a main meal, so you can get some meat or fish or eggs in addition. But you'd better not try it! :)

Grazie :) Pasta is not so bad, taking on account the price :) So I'm eating it every lunch and then something different in the evening (see other posts) (I get reduced prise, as an employee of the university).
